Conservation & Heritage

We are Conservation Architects and Heritage Consultants, specialising in sensitive, design-led solutions for listed buildings, conservation areas, and historic landscapes.

Building Conservation & Heritage are at the heart of what we do at Living Space Architects.  We are experts in the sensitive refurbishment and alteration of listed buildings with over 20 years experience. Our work carefully blends contemporary design with existing historic fabric whilst retaining  the historic sense of place.  This ensures every project respects its context, while embracing thoughtful change.

“We believe that heritage buildings are not frozen in time. While listing introduces important protections, it also invites intelligent, well-informed design that enhances both character and functionality whilst respecting significance.”

Kirsty Curnow Bayley – RIBA Conservation Architect & Director
