The Hermitage, a Grade II listed building, has been a family home for over 30 years. The owners wanted to improve the flow of the building after several previous extensions had left it feeling rather fragmented. They wanted to look at different options for reorganising the spaces to help them work better, making use of all the space, and altering the a kitchen/dinning room so that it would be more practical and connect better with the house, also creating an addition bedroom and upstairs bathroom.

After consultation with Teignbridge District Council planning and conservation department a contemporary barrel vaulted roofed extension was agreed t replace an existing dilapidated extension.  The House has recently been sold and the promotion video above shows how this stunning extension sits adjacent to the existing listed property.
