Super Insulated panels
Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) are prefabricated building components that consist of a sandwich of two outer layers (typically oriented strand board or OSB) and a core of insulation material. Common thicknesses range from around 4 inches (approximately 102 mm) to 12 inches (approximately 305 mm) or more. The thickness chosen for a particular project depends on factors such as local building codes, climate conditions, and energy efficiency goals. We have used SIPs with 142mm and 172mm thickness.
