Charred Timber Clad House, Cornwall

Starting on site this year we have detailed and secured planning consent for this contemporary home in Cornwall.

The house has been designed to be as sustainable as possible using SIP panels to provide high levels of insulation and air-tightness.  The striking design includes a stunning open plan kitchen dining area that opens to the vaulted roof.  The site is well hidden from the road and the dark metal and timber cladding helps the building to recess into the site whilst creating a sculptural form in the landscape.  We are looking forward to taking this project forward to build on site this year.
