This lovely property in Exeter is unusual as it is one of a set-piece of Georgian houses around a private garden near the centre of the city.  Number 5 was bombed during WWII and replaced with a house of the same size and proportions, but with contemporary details and different height windows.

We gained planning consent last month for a new contemporary extension creating an open plan kitchen and dining room opening through large sliding doors to the garden.

The house sits within the St Leonards Conservation Area and we carried out consultation with the City Council prior to submitting the application which helped us gain consent.
